Architectural Re-Action versus Action

If you live in a space of your own design does that deaden the desire to redesign your living space. Living in spaces designed by others causes an Architectural Re-Action to those spaces. Often driving your own Architectural Action on other projects. What happens if the reaction is taken away?

Granted one can always react to the design of the world outside of their home and there is an unending supply of fodder for Architectural Re-Actions in the world, but I am speaking of the private spaces that one chooses to surround themselves.

Perhaps an Architect is destined to never be satisfied with any space, designed by themselves or otherwise, and always revel in the possibilities/opportunities of any space. So to live within your own design is an exercise in self-love and in self-loathing.
